Bursaries

Two separate bursaries are available through the Chester Basin Everett Branch 88 of the Royal Canadian Legion to support students in their post-secondary education:

a. The Everett Branch #88 Royal Canadian Legion Veteran's Memorial Bursary - available to the child or grandchild of a member in good standing of Everett Branch No. 88.

• 2020 Winners: Cameron Hatt, Keif Blackey, and Johanna Eisnor. Congratulations!

• There was no winner of this Bursary in 2021.

• 2022 Winner: Jacob Naugler. Congratulations!

• 2023 Winners: Emily Chaisson and Evan Hatt. Congratulations!

b. The Jerry and Mabel Siefert Memorial Award in recognition of community service - an award of $500 to a graduating student from Forest Heights Community School.

• 2020 Winner: Hannah Diepenveen. Congratulations!

• 2021 Winner: Marissa Dawn Coyle. Congratulations!

• 2022 Winner: MacKenzie Connors. Congratulations!

• 2023 Winner: Emily Chaisson. Congratulations!

To apply for either or both of these bursaries, contact your school's Guidance Counsellor OR select from the listing below to download the required form(s).

Please give yourself time to obtain, complete and submit the form(s) - as indicated in the downloadable application forms (see links below), applications are to be submitted to the School Counselor by May 15, 2024, or directly to the Legion by May 30, 2024.
